Four Excellences in Materializing USM-APEX Agenda

14 March 2023 - What a fruitful day. We gathered to talk, share and discuss ideas and execution plan on achieving the Key Performance Indicator of the School of Industrial Technology which moving forward to realizing the APEX agenda of Universiti Sains Malaysia. The discussion focused on four key strategies including Academic Excellence, Research Excellence, Service Excellence and Finance Excellence. We set numbers and know-how strategies towards accomplishing the targets.

As a new lecturer, the exposure allows me to understand in depth the Malaysian higher educational system, and most importantly help me to strategize the individual KPI for improving school's performance. Listening to the experienced lecturers on their great ideas during small group discussion has provided me substantial information to craft my own journey as a great educator and excellent researcher in university.
