Presenting microencapsulation technology at ICNP2024

International Conference on Natural Products (ICNP2024) is a prestigious platform for natural product scientists and industies in Malaysia to showcase their research findings and new breakthrough. ICNP is annually organized by Malaysian Natural Products Society and this year, International Islamic University Malaysia took a chance to co-organize and host it. It was a fruitful three-day conference and workshop which was held at Hyatt Regency, Kuantan, Pahang from 9 - 11 September 2024.

On behalf of my #PhytoRG members, I took a stage to present our current research progress on Microencapsulation of Bioflavonoid Standardized Extract for Managing Chronic Inflammation Diseases. The sharing was insightful and engaging. Being a phytochemist, academician and part of professional society, we are responsible to educate and share scientific evidence to industries and communities. This to ensure the products with general health or therapeutic claims commercialised on the shelf are safe and efficacious especially in Malaysia.

In conjunction to ICNP2024, as part of appointed MNPS commitee members, we were honored to present several awards on that night including Travel Grants, Best PhD Thesis, Best Young Researcher and Honorary Member Awards. I was responsible to ensure the Award Night was a success. Congratulations to all the award recipients!
